Heather Krepski

Heather Krepski is currently a doctoral candidate and sessional instructor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba. Possible topics of her session "Revisiting K-12 assessment processes during covid-19 with student well-being in mind" could include: 1) Which “basics" can we maintain during covid-19? The role of formative assessment, as/of and for learning, and feedback during a pandemic; 2) How a pandemic can impact student motivation, self-regulation, and assessment capability in K-12 learners; 3) Prioritizing educational goods and capacities for flourishing throughout the assessment process; 4) Incorporating understandings of student well-being into our digital ecologies
